We have our hands full this upcoming week as we plan our first fundraisers within 7 days of each other!

On Easter morning, the mission team will continue our tradition of serving breakfast to our church body and guests during the Sunday School hour. From 9 - 9:45 a.m. we'll be dishing out pancakes, breakfast casserole, and fruit! It is always a joy to cook and serve, and to see our church family respond generously. Following breakfast will be an Easter Egg Hunt for the little ones. Church service starts at 10:30 a.m.

Next, on April 14, we will be hosting a garage sale at the church. All week long people are welcome to bring donations by the church during office hours (check www.lakesidepca.org). On Friday, the team will have a big party organizing and pricing items (pizza is always involved!). And then Saturday, after we've had a few cups of coffee, we'll have the garage sale from 7 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Hey there! This is Ariel Bealer, mission team leader, and I am so excited to bring you a Web site just for keeping track of Lakeside's mission teams. It makes sense to have a Web site, considering how much technology consumes peoples lives. And it was about time we joined the 21st century, anyway!

My goal for this site is that it will be a place where both the mission team and those who support it can come for information, to keep track of fundraisers being held, and to stay updated when we are actually in Belize.

Although I am eager about our opportunities to serve the churches in Belize through word and deed, I cannot resist sharing this photo because I am also excited about enjoying God's magnificent creation while we are there!
