Here we are, within the one month mark of our mission trip to Belize! The team has been meeting for 2 and a half months now to prepare ourselves spiritually and mentally for this ministry opportunity.

We were excited to learn that we'll be working in the village of Xaibe (pronounced shy-bay) which is about 15 minutes from our lodgings in Corozal Town. Our main construction project will be a bathroom! And for our afternoon children's ministry we are planning great games, crafts, and Bible stories focusing on Paul.

God has blessed the team with financial provision. We have 5 team members who have raised all of their funds, and many more still diligently working toward their goal. We know that in the end, even if it's at the last minute, God will provide.

Please pray for our team as we make final preparations - that the Holy Spirit will work through us blessing and encouraging everyone we meet, that each team member will experience significant spiritual growth, and that we may glorify and honor God with all of our words and deeds.

We have officially passed the two month mark (it was May 7th)!!!

Our second Garage Sale experienced an hour of rain and sprinkles, but God still blessed us with raising $800. Every bit counts! Three of our team members have had fruitful returns from support letters sent out to family and friends. I love that the youngest member of our team (she's 11) has raised more money than anyone else.
