Where is Corozal Town, Belize?

Lakeside's summer 2013 mission trip will be to Corozal Town, Belize. Belize is located in Central America, bordering Mexico and Guatemala. It is the smallest country in Central America, but has the most ethnically diverse population. Corozal Town is on the coast in northern Belize, just 9 miles from the Mexican border.

How much will the mission trip to Belize cost?

The project cost is $778 per person, which includes lodging and food for 7 days, and construction supplies. Airfare is an additional $780. The team will start fundraising in February and welcomes any financial support!

Who may go on the trip to Belize?

Any member of Lakeside PCA in high school and older may serve on the mission team. Jr. High youth may serve if accompanied by an adult. No one under 6th grade will be able to come on this trip.

What type of ministry will the team be doing in Belize?

Lakeside's mission team to Belize will be serving in both word and deed. Every morning we will be doing construction projects at local churches, helping improve and build upon what's already there. In the afternoons we will be providing a VBS or Bible school for 80-120 local children.

Where else has Lakeside sent mission teams?

Lakeside served in Corozal, Belize in 2012 but has sent mission teams to a number of locations, including:
